Currently we have an opening for a Software Engineer at our Ft. Worth, Texas site. This position will design and develop software for a global enterprise information system. This position will also be a member of an Integrated Product Team working through all phases of the system’s engineering development lifecycle.





The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:





• Delivering software requirements, as well as their design, development and maintenance;


• Additional responsibilities may include risk identification and analysis, prototyping, and configuration tasks;


• As the project progresses, may analyze the current technology environment and advise how to best leverage emerging new technologies.





The minimum qualifications for this position are:





• Five years of relevant experience in the design and development of multi-tiered enterprise software systems;


• Two years of demonstrable experience with webMethods Integration Platform 6.1, 6.5 and/or 7.0;


• You have designed, developed, deployed and maintained minimum of one J2EE application and are proficient in most aspects of J2EE development (EJBs, JSP/Servlets, JMS, JCA, JDO, JDBC, etc.);


• You have a solid understanding of J2EE architecture and design concepts as well as experience with one or more J2EE application services (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.);


• Strong Lifecycle experience – Requirements thru Maintenance;


• Strong knowledge of XML/XSL, Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI) and business process modeling;


• Database integration experience and SQL understanding;


• Strong understanding of service oriented architecture and design patterns;


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline from an accredited institution;


• Must work well with the related technical, research, and program teams and have proven leadership skills;


• Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills;


• In compliance with Department of Defense and Department of State standards related to this work, you must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
